The Bible offers sound advice on many topics including natural health. Old Testament and New Testament scripture alike, provide guidance for us to make good decisions when it comes to helping our bodies to heal.

Your Body Is A Temple Of The Lord's
"Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and [that] the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?"
1 Corinthians 3:16
"What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's."
1 Corinthians 6:19-20
The Natural Health Principle Of Wholeness Are Mirrored In Salvation
In Jordan Rubin’s (author of The Maker’s Diet) health coaching course text book, he said:
"Spiritually, the gospel is “salvation.” Mentally and emotionally, the gospel promotes a sound mind. Physically, the gospel gives us insight on how to be good stewards of the body temple. In scripture salvation is holistic—affecting every part of who we are. The term reconcile literally means to “make peace” and God makes peace in our lives, giving us His peace and putting every broken part of us –body, mind, and/or spirit–back together."
Rubin goes on to discuss the 7 key areas of focus . These keys are listed below.
7 Keys To Natural Health and Healing
1. Eat to Live — Know what foods give our body life.
2. Supplement Your Diet with Whole Food Nutritionals, Living Nutrients, and Superfoods —Understand that diet alone cannot give us all the nutrients we need.
3. Practice Advanced Hygiene — Cleanse areas most susceptible to “health invaders”— bacteria,germs, etc.
4. Condition Your Body with Exercise and Body Therapies — Keep your body temple strong and healthy through exercise and other healthful activities.
5. Reduce Toxins in Your Environment — Minimize exposure to and contact with dangerous chemicals.
6. Avoid Deadly Emotions — Avoid emotions that can cause you ill health.
7. Live a Life of Prayer and Purpose — Daily communication with God helps you find out.
His design for your life based on your gifts, passions, and talents. These tenants are the foundation for maintaining and restoring health through prayer, whole food nutrition and other natural health methods. Here we will be looking at natural health principles congruent with these fundamental Biblical principles which help to restore balance and health within the body.
