Why Fulvic Minerals Are The Most Important Nutrient You Can't Live Without

By Jennifer Smith, CHN, BHC, FBCC

Fulvic minerals used to be found in abundance in the soil. However, due to modern farming practices and factory farming methods which fail to rotate crops and bombard the soil with poisonous chemical fertilizers and pesticides, our soils are left severely deficient in the natural fulvic minerals.

And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Consequences of Nutrient Deficiencies

The natural consequence is that our vegetables, and fruits are deficient in essential nutrients, and the grasses and grains that the animals (which we use for meat) feed on are also deficient. Nutrient deficiencies leads to lowered immunity, a host of diseases and a reduction in overall lifespan.

But You Say: 'I take a multivitamin and mineral supplement daily'

I know what your probably thinking, 'I take a multivitamin and mineral supplement everyday, so I have the necessary minerals covered'.  Well yes and no. While taking a multi vitamin and mineral supplement is better than nothing, the simple fact is that they only contain the bare minimum of a few common vitamins and minerals, to avoid the most common nutritional deficiencies.

Humic is dark brown, almost black in color and describes a group of complex organic molecules. Fulvic is a golden color and is one of these complex molecules in the Humic family.

Humic and Fulvic minerals deliver a whopping 74+ macro, micro and trace minerals, 10 vitamins, 18 amino acids, and other necessary nutrients which are quickly absorbed directly into our cells to support all of our metabolic and life sustaining processes.

This is unlike other multivitamins because these nutrients are easily absorbable due to the smaller molecule size which easily pass through the cell membrane to be utilized immediately.  This is one reason supplements seem to be ineffective, because inorganic and metallic minerals are largely passed through the intestinal tract and fail to be absorbed into the bloodstream.

Health Benefits of Fulvic Minerals and Humic Minerals

These are some Fulvic minerals and Humic mineral benefits.

  • Provides antioxidant support for cell protection from free radicals
  • Replenishes key electrolytes
  • Transports up to 60x its own weight in nutrients directly into cells

  • Helps support healthy immune function
  • Alkalizing minerals assist proper pH and healthy oxygenation levels

90 Essential Nutrients

There are at least 90 growth and maintenance nutrients which the body requires in order to sustain health, have been identified by scientists. Many of these are called 'essential' because the body cannot manufacture them, and they need to be supplied daily. Nutrients including amino acids, macro and trace minerals, vitamins and other nutritional factors.

These nutrients are the building blocks of cells and metabolic processes. If we fail to supply the cells with these necessary nutrients, we will experience a breakdown in bodily functions, which manifest as lowered immunity and disease symptoms.  Deficiencies in one or more of the body's required nutrients, interrupt cellular metabolism, growth and maintenance which is common to every degenerative disease we experience.

Ever since the advent of electricity when wood burning stoves were removed from houses and the advent of factory farming methods began to be implemented across the country, our soils have been in a downward spiral of extreme nutrient and trace mineral deficiency. The result has been a plague of chronic health conditions related to vitamin and mineral deficiencies. Since humic and fulvic minerals provide all the nutrients our bodies require, we can easily replace our multi-vitamins and benefit our health for many years to come.

If you are ready to experience the benefits of these minerals for yourself, here are the Fulvic minerals that I like best.
